TidyConnect.co.uk was written as part of a SEO experiment. I
needed to establish whether or not we could get hits to a website naturally
without relying on CPC (Cost Per Click) campaigns.
"The idea is that
new websites can instantly get hits and potentially sales...without the use of
Adwords"
A test site was written using our own products
(www.tidyware.co.uk). After some
initial testing I decided that TidyConnect could cope with a lot more
products.... and that is where we got really stuck in!
TidyConnect boasts over 10,000 products all
from our customers. Each product is not only Search Engine Optimised buy
directly links into the product on the customers website.
Each customer can directly update their product
feed at a push of a button, and their admin section shows statistics for their
own products, most popular, most clicks, most searched.
TidyConnect directly interacts with Froogle /
Google Products every day. So new items appear virtually instantly!
TidyConnect is currently 100% FREE to all
customers and after only 6 weeks has over 12,000 pages within google search
index.
